Since 1898 we have been an award winning family owned business based in Shepton Mallet in Somerset.

With a heritage of more than a century in the food industry, we have developed renowned processing facilities at our factory in Somerset, and have an knowledgeable, enthusiastic and experienced team.

We are known throughout the trade for our general attitude of relishing a challenge, a “can do” attitude that continues to help us drive our business forward by serving our customers.

Service and quality are paramount to us, which is why we are consistently chosen by leading brand owners to process and pack their products.

Our family values are apparent and are applied throughout all aspects of the business. These virtues of persistence, patience and innovation are key to our success and we have been fortunate to have our capabilities recognised through a number of recent awards.

Sustainability

We have a well established recycling scheme that sees very little waste sent to landfill, and we recycle one hundred per cent of waste produced on site. In the past few years we have reduced our carbon footprint by almost 60 per cent and we employ an Environment & Sustainability Manager who is responsible for the day to day environmental aspects of the site. As well as recycling our waste, we have recently installed a DAF plant and metering systems, in 2022 a biomass plant was installed and in 2024 we plan to complete our energy centre which is a combination of a CHP boiler and a sustainable wood chip fed boiler from sustainable uk sources.
