Egg & Dairy

In 1898 George Frampton founded an egg production and packing facility in Street, Somerset. Norman Frampton, the eldest son of the founder acquired the current factory in Shepton Mallet in the 1960’s where he set up an egg processing factory contracted to the British Egg Marketing Board. When the board ceased in 1971 the factory started producing egg products for the bakery trade.

The factory now focusses on added value egg products including:

  • Bespoke blends for manufacturing
  • Blended shelf life (ESL) egg products
  • Cooked products

All products can be supplied from either colony or free-range eggs. All our eggs are produced under the Lion Accreditation scheme.

Our product range is supplied from either hens housed in modern colony welfare systems or free ranging. Both are accredited by the Lion Scheme.
