Water in a Box
Framptons’ Sustainable Spring Water Brand
Produced in Somerset for foodservice, education and events across the UK.
Framptons’ experience in spring water began with a clear ambition – to offer a practical alternative to single‑use plastic bottles without compromising on water quality or usability for trade customers.
Water in a Box was created to deliver British spring water in a format better suited to today’s environmental and regulatory landscape.
Sourced from Framptons’ own spring in the Mendip Hills, the water naturally filters through limestone, resulting in a clean, fresh taste and a naturally alkaline profile. From the outset, the focus has been on provenance, purity and a short, transparent journey from source to shelf.
As demand for sustainable hydration has grown, Water in a Box has evolved to meet the needs of foodservice, education, workplaces and events. The range now includes still spring water and lightly flavoured options in multiple formats, designed to work seamlessly across trade environments.
Central to the brand is its packaging. Water in a Box uses a box made from 94% plant‑based materials that is fully recyclable, helping customers reduce reliance on plastic while maintaining convenience, shelf presence and performance.
The combination of local sourcing, low‑impact packaging and trade‑ready formats positions Water in a Box as Framptons’ long‑term solution for sustainable hydration.
The Range
The Water in a Box range includes still spring water and flavoured spring water in 500ml formats – with variants including Lemon & Lime, Orange & Peach, Berry, and Apple & Elderflower. A 1L still spring water option is also available, designed for use in education, offices and workplace settings.
